,Hello and welcome! To give you a bit about myself, I am originally from Texas but I have lived in some great places. My hobbies include watching every kind of sport, cooking (which means I love to eat), and getting outside for a hike or walk with my dog. I am generally a quiet guy but I really come out of my shell when I get the opportunity to teach and share the knowledge of Technical Theatre. I am currently working at Arizona State University School of Film, Dance, & Theatre as the Staff Technical Director. We produce five theatre productions and around twelve dance concerts per year. We have around fifty design & production students and they are the students I get to interact with and mentor the most. I primarily manage the scene shop and scenery budgets for the school while also supervising every student that uses our shop.

I have served several times as technical director and carpenter for many shows throughout my career and was expected to head the building process and maintain the set throughout productions that were performed in proscenium and studio spaces.  The skills I have acquired as being a technical director and carpenter have helped me become a better leader and communicator in hopes of becoming a theatre educator.

Please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone call. Enjoy my site!
